Here there comes, the newest Portege from Toshiba : Portege M800. Different with the Satellite series, some people said that Portege is the highest tipe of Toshiba notebook. Actually we would not debate that statement, we only would compare the specification with M300 that have just entering local market.

There’s only one tipe in M800 serie so far. Toshiba Satellite M800 use 13.3 inch monitor, this is the smallest size among five Toshiba new releases. Looking at the specification, this notebook is not kind of high-end notebooks. M800 use Intel Core 2Duo T5750 1.0 GHz lower than Satellite M300 –N4321. The memory is also not as big as we found in A300, M800 comes with 1 GB memory. We could add one memory slot because there’s still one place left. In other side, this notebook only use Santa Rosa Intel chipset : GMA X3100 with directX 10.0 SM 4.0.

From the specification above, maybe some people would doubt about the perform, but I’ll make a sure 80% that this notebook has almost perfect stability performance. The stability remaind us to Acer Travelmate 6292 which has similar specification with M800. it’s a little bit shocking to know that we would never have problem with “low battery”. It’s because of the tools use the best quality and work properly. So, we don’t have to be worry about the stability. About the price, we have to prepare $1.279 to bring M800 home. Just compare it with A300 and M300-N4321.
